Welcome to The Pastor's Office! I am Brian Deneen, retired local church pastor continuing my ministry through research and writing to provide focused resources for local church ministries and individual Christians.

My local church ministry spanned 22 years in three denominations: the Church of the Nazarene, the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in which I am ordained, and a final short tenure in a UCC congregation. My seminary M.A. was earned at Central Baptist Theological Seminary, now located in Overland Park, Kansas (moved from Kansas City, Kansas), founded in 1901.

Most of my writing has served my ministry activity over the past now 40 years of ministry. Ongoing projects that I hope to post on this site include much of that material, re-imagined from personal presentation to written form. As any who have attempted this know, this re-working from presentation to written format is a time-consuming process, converting the presentation context from a specific audience and locality to a general readership.

My hope is to use electronic means to distribute what the Lord has called me to teach and preach in-person to a world of believers in Jesus Christ.
